This Privacy Policy explains how Roy Tech Labs ("we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use Sobdochok: Daily Bangla Puzzle (the "App", package in.superbangla.crossword, previously called শব্দছক - Bengali Crossword) and our website at https://crossword.superbangla.in/.
Daily crossword play does not require an account. Some features — including weekly contests, contest results, the lucky draw, and your account screen — require you to sign in.
Depending on how you use the App or website, we may collect:
We do not collect your phone number or precise location through the App.
You may create an account using:
The App does not use passwords, so there is no password-reset flow.
When you sign in, we store your user ID, email address, and display name in a profile linked to your account. If you sign in with Google, we may use the name associated with that Google account as your initial display name. You can edit your display name on the Account screen. Email is shown there but cannot be changed in the App.
Authentication and account records are processed by Supabase, our backend provider.
Daily crosswords. Puzzle progress, attempts, completion status, and related scores stay on your device. The App downloads crossword content from our website in order to display puzzles.
Stars and streaks. Star balances, star transactions, and daily streaks are stored on your device. If you are signed in, we also store a backup of your current star balance on our servers. We do not upload your full star transaction history.
Contests. If you enter a weekly contest, we store your participation, answers, score, completion time, and whether a reward was claimed. After a contest ends, other signed-in users may see your display name, score, and time on the leaderboard.
Weekly lucky draw. Eligibility is based on completed contest entries. If you win, we store that result against your account. Prize messages in the App ask winners to check the email address on their account for gift-card delivery.
If you allow notifications, the App obtains an Expo push token and, when you are signed in, stores that token with your user ID and device type so we can send updates such as contest or lucky-draw notices.
Notification permission is controlled by your device. You can also turn notifications off in the App’s Settings. Turning them off in the App removes the current device token from our records. You can also disable notifications in your operating-system settings.
We do not use your phone number or location to send push notifications.
On iOS and Android, the App uses Firebase Analytics (a Google service) to understand how the App is used and to improve it. Analytics may collect app and device information together with events we configure, including:
If you are signed in, we associate analytics with your account user ID. We do not send your email address or display name to Firebase Analytics in these events. The App does not currently offer an in-app setting to turn analytics off.
The App does not use a separate crash-reporting service.
The App uses Google AdMob to show banner ads, native ads, and rewarded ads. Rewarded ads may grant stars or reveal a crossword word if you choose to watch them. Banner and native ads may appear on crossword and contest screens.
The advertising SDK may use advertising identifiers and information about your device and ad interactions. Ads may be personalized according to Google’s default advertising behaviour and your Google / device ad settings. The App does not currently include a separate in-app consent form for advertising.

In Settings, you can clear local crossword progress. That action does not delete your account, contest history, or star balance. Uninstalling the App or clearing the App’s data removes information stored on that device.

If you use device share sheets, open our WhatsApp community link, or leave a store review, those platforms process that activity under their own policies.
We share information with the service providers listed above so they can operate authentication, hosting, analytics, advertising, notifications, and related App functions.
Other signed-in users may see your display name and contest result on leaderboards after a contest ends. We may also use your account email to contact you about a lucky-draw prize.
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect the App, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell your email address as a standalone product.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing the service, maintaining security, resolving disputes, and complying with legal obligations.
Crossword progress kept only on your device remains there until you clear it or remove the App. Account, contest, lucky-draw, star-balance backup, and push-token records remain on our servers until you request account deletion, or until they are removed as part of operating or securing the service. Section 13 explains how to request deletion and what limited information we may retain afterward.
If you have created an account in Sobdochok: Daily Bangla Puzzle, you can request that Roy Tech Labs delete it. You can start that request in the App or on the web.
In the App. Open Account and choose Delete Account, then confirm Submit deletion request. Roy Tech Labs reviews the request. Logging out does not delete your account.
On the web. Go to https://crossword.superbangla.in/delete-account.html and email hello.okbangla@gmail.com from the email address on your account. Use Account Deletion Request - Sobdochok: Daily Bangla Puzzle as the subject, and include the email address associated with the account.
We aim to process a verified request within 1–5 business days. If we need more information to verify it, we may contact you at the email address on the account. You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.
Once the request is verified and processed, we delete the account and the associated personal and application data that is eligible for deletion. That includes your profile (user ID, email address, and display name), contest participation and results, lucky-draw records, the server backup of your star balance, push notification tokens stored for the account, and the deletion request itself after it has been completed, except where a limited record must be kept as described below.
Account deletion is permanent. Saved account-related information, including contest participation, rewards, the star-balance backup, and streaks tied to the account, may be lost and the account may not be recoverable. Crossword progress stored only on a device is removed when you clear it in Settings, uninstall the App, or clear the App’s data.
In certain circumstances, we may retain limited information where necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or other legitimate purposes. Any information retained for these purposes is handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
These actions do not delete your account:
The App is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Every crossword published in the App is created by a human crossword creator with experience in the Bengali language.
Crossword puzzles, clues and answers are not automatically generated using Artificial Intelligence.
